We are so happy to have all your athletes join us for the 2025/26 ringette season! We know they will have a great time learning our amazing sport and make many new friends along the way.
As you may have seen on our media sites (Facebook and
ncringette.ca are most active, we also have instagram and twitter) our season is getting started quickly and we have lots of action planned at the rinks. The season fully gets underway in October. If you are Active Start, the schedule will be announced for that group as we get closer to October - you'll have one ice time a week. If you are FUN1 or FUN2, you'll get underway at our assessments - which is were we assess the athletes in these two groups and to ensure everyone is playing with the group that is best for them to develop; it's also a great time to start seeing your new teammates for the first time. We are also excited to have regular gym ringette times scheduled for these groups this season.
Many of you are joining us for the first time and may have many questions about the program and the sport in general - no worries at all - we have a great team of volunteers and families ready to help out. In the attachment you will see a general summary of these groups and what you can expect. As we draw closer to October, you will receive an email inviting you to RAMP Team app - this is where we do all our team communication.
Thank you for choosing NCRA for your athlete's sporting activity, we are very proud of our program and believe strongly in the benefits of sport and more importantly of ringette. Tell your friends and family it's not to late to sign-up - we are still accepting registrations for this season!
Kayla Mercer is in the role of Childrens Ringette Coordinator. In this role, Kayla is responsible for the oversight of the program within NCRA policy and philosophy, along with being a valuable resource to many families entering this sport for the first time. You can reach out to Kayla anytime via email at
ncrachildrensringette@gmail.com
We can't wait to see your athletes at the rink!
Sincerely,
NCRA Executive Board
